Labor, Business, & Community leaders join "Friends of Labor" to celebrate 43rd SF Mayor Edwin Lee!

The Laborers' Local 261 Community Service and Training Foundation is a local non-profit and union affiliated organization founded in 2008 by Oscar De La Torre. The mission of LCTF is to empower low-income and under-served residents of San Francisco through job training and placement. Please join Labor, Business, & Community leaders as we celebrate our new Mayor and ring in the New Year!

In general, the overarching goal for most special events is to raise the necessary funds to create the infrastructure for our organization to expand and grow. We primarily develop a Job Assistance programs that provide unemployed San Francisco residents support and assistance in the areas of job readiness training, union dues assistance, job placement, unemployment aid, and overall case management.

The Laborers Union Local 261 is a vital and creative force within San Francisco and a leader in maintaining the beauty and infrastructure of our City. LCTF continues this great tradition. We focus our work and training on “cleaning and greening” San Francisco, and as we grow, the Bay Area.

Kindly let us know if you business or group would like a sponorship package to assist the Alliance for Jobs in coordinated efforts with the LCTF, Asian Neighborhood Designs, and A. Philip Randolf Institute in 2011. Your support will help LCTF and partners to continue to prepare hundreds of San Franciscans for employment through economic and green job development programs.
